Make Crispy Kokis without sticking to the mold

Kokis is not something that is made only for our New Year. Dane(sri lankan religeons ceremany)  is a tasty snack that is made at home as well as in many wedding events. Therefore, even though this is our traditional snack, it is said that its origin is from abroad.

"Kokis are considered a traditional Sri Lankan food, believed to be of Dutch origin, dating back to the time when parts of the country were under Dutch rule. Its name is derived from the Dutch word kokjes, meaning cookies or biscuits. [1] ( kuki) and Persian naan panjere are the tourist equivalents of Sri Lankan kokis. Indian bis nankatai are also similar to kokis. There is a snack called achappam among the Christian community in the southwestern Indian state of Kerala."

So today I will teach you how to make kokis easily without sticking to the mold.

👉 A cup of coconut milk (thikness milk)
👉 A cup of wet rice flour
        👉 an egg
          👉1 teaspoon of sugar
👉 A pinch of salt to taste
              👉 A little turmeric powder

              How to make this 👇

Add the coconut milk to the rice flour little by little and mix well. Do not add all the coconut milk at once. If the moisture content of your rice flour is high, the amount of coconut milk required will be less. So add coconut milk little by little.
Next, add the egg. If you are vegetarian, you can make the coconut mixture even if you don't add an egg. Next, we need to add sugar, a little turmeric powder and salt according to taste to make a thick and liquid batter. Now our coconut batter is ready.
So now let's make the most delicious kokis.
Put some oil in a pan and let it heat. When the oil is hot, dip the cookie mold in it. When the oil is hot, the cookie mold will also be hot.

If you watch the video below, it will be easier for you to make our delicious kokis.
